For parents & families
Support your kid's recovery, without hovering
When someone you love is in eating disorder recovery, family support genuinely changes the odds. Pippa gives parents a gentle, consent-based way to follow along, help at mealtimes, and stay connected to the care team, while keeping the private parts of recovery truly private. Your child logs meals and never sees a calorie count; you get the family view that helps you show up well.

What Pippa gives families
A scoped family view, by consent
When your child says yes, you see what matters for family support: meals and skips, post-meal check-ins, mood over time, and their safety plan. Access lives in Pippa Circle on your phone, or any browser, and can be turned off again at any time.
Log what you see at the table
Family-based treatment leans on the people at the meal. Add short, gentle observations from meals you support, so the whole care team sees how mealtimes are really going between appointments, not just what gets remembered later.
The private stays private
You do not see their journal, their conversations with PippaChat, or clinician notes. Those belong to your child alone. Recovery needs a space that is fully theirs, and Pippa protects it on purpose.
Mood and safety, close at hand
See mood check-ins as trends rather than a running score, and open the safety plan your child and their clinician built together. If crisis language ever comes up in the app, real resources like 988 are one tap away.
Consent handled the right way
For teens, guardian consent is built in and handled carefully, so following along never has to feel like a battle. For young adults, they invite you in on their own terms. Either way, trust stays intact.
Part of one care team
Parents, clinicians, and dietitians all work from the same connected picture. The care team can message and set the plan; you add the day-to-day meal reality only a family sees.
Clear boundaries, so trust holds
The fastest way to lose a young person in recovery is to make the tools feel like surveillance. Pippa is deliberate about what a parent can and cannot see, and your child controls the switch.
You can see
Meals logged and skipped · post-meal check-ins · mood trends · the safety plan · your own meal-support notes
You cannot see
The private journal · chats with Pippa · clinician-only notes · any calorie number
How the family view works
01 · Get invited
Your child, or their clinic, invites you by email. For teens, guardian consent is handled as part of setup.
02 · Open Pippa Circle
Sign in on the Pippa Circle app (iPhone or Android), or in any browser at family.getpippa.app. Your view is scoped to meals, check-ins, mood, and the safety plan, nothing private.
03 · Show up well
Follow along between appointments and log gentle meal-support notes the care team can see. Consent can be paused any time.
Built to sit alongside professional care
Pippa is a supportive companion, not a treatment or a medical device, and it does not replace your child's clinicians. It is designed to strengthen the kind of family involvement that evidence-based eating disorder care, including family-based treatment, relies on: regular meals, gentle support, and a connected team. If your child is not yet working with a clinic, they can still use the app on their own, and you can be invited whenever the time is right.

Get set up as a family
Pippa is free for your child on iOS and Android. The family view opens the moment they invite you and consent, and closes again the moment they choose to. Download Pippa Circle to be ready.
